The info you add to Sprout helps us create the best recipes and meals for you. None of the data collected will be sold or used against you.

When you use Sprout, we collect the following information to provide and improve the app:

  • Account information — your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address.
  • Profile information — your name, birthday, and health & wellness goals.
  • Recipe preferences — dietary preferences, excluded ingredients, and measurement system.
  • Content you create — recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, challenge entries, and reviews.
  • Crash reports — anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

How We Use It

We use your information to:

  • Generate personalized recipes and meal plans.
  • Save your preferences so the app works the way you want.
  • Enable community features like challenges and the discover feed.
  • Fix bugs and improve the app experience.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for advertising.
  • We do not share your personal information with data brokers.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. Authentication is handled through Sign in with Apple, and your credentials are never stored by Sprout directly.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, preferences, meal plans, grocery lists, reviews, and reports. Recipes you published to the community will have your ownership removed.
